Silver Ray floats out

On Sunday 25 February, Silversea Cruises celebrated the departure of its newest ship, the Silver Ray, at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The shipping company's second Nova Class ship will now join its sister ship, the Silver Nova, as the two largest ships in the Silversea fleet.

A special and festive moment so at the shipyard, the ship's construction dock was filled with water so it could be moved out of dry dock and into a wet dock where the final finishes will be completed.

The Silver Ray will spend her first cruise season in Europe this summer with itineraries to destinations such as Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia, as well as Monaco, Livorno (Florence/Pisa) and St Tropez.

How about the 8-day Lisbon-Barcelona on 15/06/2024 from €5,650 pp (door-to-door, so the price includes flights and all transfers from your doorstep to the ship and back).

Or 13 days Lisbon-Rome on 15/06/2024 from €9,200 pp (door-to-door).

The trans Atlantic crossing happens on 04/12/2024 from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale, 16 days from €6,600 pp (door-to-door). Also nice, the 8-day Lima (Callao/Peru) to Fuerte Amador (Panama City/ Panama), departing on 04/01/2025 from €3,600 pp (door-to-door).

The Silver Ray inherits the revolutionary aspects of her sister ship, the Silver Nova, such as the innovative asymmetrical design and retains the typical Silversea features in terms of design, interpretation of the luxurious experience and refined gastronomy. With room for 728 passengers, the Silver Ray is instantly one of the largest ships in the fleet.

ISLAND HOPPING IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN
There are not many places on earth where hawksbill turtles feel so unthreatened that they come ashore in broad daylight to lay their eggs. These exotic Gallic outposts are made for exploring by sea, with BBQ breaks on deserted islands, daily swimming stops and fantastic hikes through the lush interior.

This is the itinerary: Mahe - Praslin - Cousin - Curieuse - Aride - La Digue - St Pierre - Moyenne - Mahe.

M/Y PEGASOS

This yacht has capacity for 44 passengers and 18 crew members. The staterooms are located on the Sun Deck, Upper Deck and main Deck, they have large windows, bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Furthermore, a minibar, individually controlled air conditioning and a safe. They are spacious and comfortably furnished with soft colours.

During the day, life on board concentrates around the indoor and outdoor lounge and the associated American bar on the upper deck. You can also have breakfast or dinner outside. CONSTANCE EPHELIA

Your ideal resort to start your yacht cruise along the islands of the Seychelles. Once you land on Mahe, the main island of the Seychelles and the departure point of most yacht cruises along this beautiful archipelago, it is advisable to spend one or more nights ashore first. This will allow you to unwind and you will be hassle-free in time to check in for your yacht cruise.

To make this stay as unforgettable as your cruise experience itself, we recommend Constance Hotels & Resorts, present on Mahe with Constance Ephelia. Of course, you can also opt to end your yacht cruise along the Seychelles by spending a few more days here to enjoy the island and the many facilities of this hotel at your disposal.
